Councils and boards:
Icelandic Bar Association Law Review Committee – since 2006. A committee of attorneys who review bills of law as consultants before the Parliament of Iceland.
Icelandic Copyright Committee – since 2006. A Committee of experts in the field of copyright appointed by law by the Minister of Education, Science and Culture to advise him on issues of copyright law. The Committee also writes bills of law on copyright issues. Currently the Committee’s main focus is to completely rewrite the Icelandic Copyright Act, a huge undertaking that will be completed over the next three years.
Icelandic Copyright Council - since the Council was founded in 2009. By law, expert members of the Copyright Committee shall also sit on the Council.
